The library aims to support the teaching and learning requirements of the school by providing relevant and up-to-date materials. We also encourage student literacy through our fiction collection and high-interest non-fiction books. It is a collection of approximately 15,000 books and audiovisual materials, with 24 internet connections for student use and an interactive whiteboard.

Library Hours (outside class time)
  1. 8.30 am - 8.55am
  2. Closed recess
  3. Open lunch 1.45-2.15pm
  4. 3.30pm - 3.45 pm

The library OASIS catalogue is accessible in the "Favourites"
list on Explorer on any school computer.

Borrowing:

Years 7-10:4 fiction and 4 non-fiction books

Years 11-12:8 fiction and 8 non-fiction books

Students are issued with a Library card for borrowing after photos are taken. This is also a Student Identification card

Vivisimo : a meta-seach engine which  searches several search engines at once at 'clusters' information into subject categories

Hakia: hakia is a general purpose "semantic" search engine, dedicated to quality search experience.

Kigose: safe search engine for schools that filters information for age appropriate content
